We are committed to privacy by design. Here's what we never collect or store:
- API Keys — Your AI provider API keys are used only to process your invoice request and are immediately discarded. We never store, log, or retain your API keys.
- Free User Invoice Content — For users without a paid account, invoice details and generated PDFs are not stored. All processing happens in real-time.
Information We Collect
For users with a paid account, we collect and store:
- Account Information — Email address and name for account management.
- Invoice Data — Your generated invoices are stored securely so you can access, edit, and manage them. You have full control over this data and can delete any or all invoices at any time.
For all users, we may collect:
- Usage Analytics — We use privacy-focused analytics (Umami) to understand how the Service is used. This data is anonymized and does not identify individual users.
- Technical Information — Standard server logs may include IP addresses and browser information for security purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period.
Local Storage
If you choose to "Remember API key," your API key is stored in your browser's localStorage — a secure, local storage area that only this website can access. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly generate an invoice.
Third-Party Services
When you use Invobi, your invoice prompt is sent to the AI provider you select (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI) using your own API key. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for information on how they handle your data:
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect any data we do process. All connections to Invobi are encrypted using HTTPS.
Your Rights & Data Control
You have full control over your data:
- Access — View all personal data and invoices we hold about you from your account dashboard.
- Delete — Delete individual invoices or all your data at any time from your account settings.
- Export — Download your invoices in PDF format whenever you need.
- Account Deletion — Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Local Storage — Clear your locally stored API key at any time by unchecking "Remember API key".

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
